The Thing I Never Told You I have kept this secret for eleven years. Eleven years of laughing with you at parties, of being the first person you called when things went wrong, of sitting across from you at that small suya spot on Allen Avenue where we always ordered the same thing. Eleven years of knowing that the version of me you loved was built, in part, on a lie. Let me start from the beginning. Chidi and I met in 2009 at a cramped cybercafé in Surulere. The relationship resulted in an unwanted pregnancy. The pregnancy led to her rejection by her family. The rejection by her family resulted in her full-time cohabitation with her lover under duress. The cohabitation led to her realization of the fact that she'd made the greatest mistake of her life by starting an illicit relationship with someone she thought would be her knight in shinning armour. You too are a Sinner

You can't call down fire on every person who offends you and still expect me to believe that you're a Christian. Which christ are you following? It can't be the Jesus I know. The character of Jesus Christ, the one you claim to be his follower, as revealed in 1 Peter 2:21-23 exposes you as a liar. Understand that the value of forgiveness is priceless. Jesus makes us to understand that God can only forgive us our trespasses if we also forgive others when they wrong us. Matthew 6:14-15. Just stop and think. Can you recall the number of times that you've sinned against God, yet he allows you to continue living? Where do you think you would be by now if that's how God rains down fire on those who offends him? Being a christian is not just a matter of putting on nice wears and attending and participating in every church activities. If Only She Was Given a Listening Ear

She was lonely and needed someone to talk to and keep her company. The only option that was available to her that cold evening was to visit her neighbour's house upstairs to see if she could be of help. Yes, she needed a shoulder to hang on to and someone with whom she can share her feelings. But on knocking the door, the neighbor from inside asked who she was. She identified herself and opened up her heart to the neighbor, telling her what her plight was. "I am feeling lonely as there's nobody in my house to keep me company. Could you please let me in so I can feel warmth with you? " she begged. "I'm sorry old woman, I'm busy." The neighbor responded with a degree of politeness in her tone.
